The Flight Risk Assessment Tool (FRAT) is an aviation industry standard methodology for assessing risk before a flight. Fratonium is an iOS app that allows you to take the tool with you in the cockpit. To use, you simply select an assessment and answer the questions. Once you have completed the survey you will be given a red, yellow, or green risk rating.

Fratonium is intended to reinforce and complement the tools and techniques required and recommended by the CFRs, AIM, and Risk Management Handbook. At no time should Fratonium be used as the sole risk assessment strategy.
